It uses forward-scattering photoelectric sensing with digital filtering to detect smoke quickly while helping reduce nuisance alarms. A field-replaceable smoke chamber, selectable sensitivity including day and night levels, self-diagnostics with environmental compensation, and a green/red status LED support clear, dependable operation.
