The Simplex 4098-5601 is a conventional photoelectric smoke detector for Simplex two-wire and four-wire detector bases, offering microprocessor-based smoke analysis, drift compensation, and a built-in red status LED. It is designed for indoor wall or ceiling mounting and supports remote LED or relay functions when used with compatible bases. NOTE: This detector replaces 4098-9601. Use with a compatible current-style 4098 base, such as 4098-5207; older 4098 series bases are not compatible.
