Simplex 4098-5602 Conventional Smoke and Heat Detector
$70.00
The Simplex 4098-5602 is a conventional photoelectric-heat detector for Simplex two-wire and four-wire detector bases, combining photoelectric smoke detection with 135 F fixed-temperature heat sensing. It uses onboard microprocessor-based analysis, drift compensation, and smoke/thermal activity correlation to help improve alarm reliability while reducing nuisance alarms.
NOTE: This detector replaces 4098-9602. Use with a compatible current-style 4098 base, such as 4098-5207; older 4098 series bases are not compatible.
Key Specifications:
Type: Conventional photoelectric-heat detector
Core Function(s): Detects smoke using photoelectric light-scattering sensing and detects heat using a fixed-temperature thermistor
