The Simplex 4098-9794E is a Sounder Base with built-in piezoelectric sounder; sounder power can be from 24 VDC or from a compatible NAC; sounder operation can be independently activated from the host control panel; sounder output can be synchronized via communications or by the NAC, if NAC powered. Designed for use with Simplex E-Series plug-in Smoke and Heat Sensors. This product is for use with these Simplex FACPs: — 4007ES, 4010, 4010ES, and 4100ES Series control panels; and 4008 Series control panels with reduced feature set for IDNet operation — 4020, 4100, and 4120 Series control panels, Universal Transponders, and 2120 TrueAlarm CDTs equipped for MAPNET II operation COMPATIBLE OPTIONAL ACCESSORIES: — 4098-9822 LED Annunciation Relay — 2098-9808 Remote red LED Alarm Indicator mounts ona single gang box to provide status indications where the sensor location may not be readily visible. Mounts to 4” octagonal or 4” square box.
