The System Sensor B501-IV is an ivory 4-inch flangeless plug-in detector base intended for use in an intelligent system, with screw terminals for power (+/-) and remote LED annunciator connections. Communication takes place over the power (+/-) lines through the installed detector head, and the base supports an optional mechanical locking feature to help prevent unwanted detector removal.
