System Sensor MOD2W Maintenance Module

The System Sensor MOD2W is a 2-wire loop test/maintenance module for i3 series detectors. It interprets the i3 “clean-me” maintenance signal, provides local indication and a relay output when service is required, and enables the EZ Walk one-button loop test to quickly verify initiating-loop wiring and connected detectors. It also supports Class A (Style D) wiring on the initiating loop. Supported Detectors • Up to twelve i3 2-wire detectors (2W-B and/or 2WT-B) plus one 2WTR-B on the same loop Maintenance & Test Functions • Interprets i3 remote maintenance (“clean-me”) and drives a service relay output • EZ Walk one-button loop test for fast wiring/device verification • Passes detector alarm to the panel while maintaining local status indication Status & LED Indication • Green: loop communication heartbeat (normal) • Yellow: maintenance required or wiring fault (pattern-dependent) • Red (steady): alarm condition on the loop • Green/Yellow blink patterns: EZ Walk active and specific fault/maintenance states
