Siemens PAD-3R Auxiliary Power Supply in Red Cabinet

The Siemens PAD-3R is a distributed power supply and notification-appliance circuit (NAC) expander housed in a red cabinet. It delivers up to 6 A at 24 V DC across four power-limited NACs that can be configured as four Class B, two Class A, or a mixed Class A/B layout. Each circuit supports 3 A of load, and an additional 3 A auxiliary output is available for door holders or other 24 V devices. Microprocessor control provides ground-fault detection, battery supervision, and selectable strobe synchronization. A built-in charger supports up to 15 Ah batteries, with space in the cabinet for a 7 Ah set. Local LED indicators and a Form C trouble relay simplify status monitoring. Programming Options: Each PAD-3 NAC extender input can be set for steady, ANSI-Temporal, or synchronized strobe operation. You can also program one input to silence horn outputs on Siemens AS-, NS-, or ZH-series horn and horn-strobe devices while leaving the strobes active for visual alerting.
